Meet Chef Amanda

Chef Amanda Jane Henson is the founder and creative force behind Black Apron Society. With more than 20 years of culinary experience, she brings passion, precision, and genuine hospitality to every table.

Trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Pittsburgh, Amanda later honed her craft in Las Vegas kitchens with Gordon Ramsay and Michael Mina before competing on Food Network’s Chopped.

Her cooking celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients, local farmers and ranchers, and beautifully composed dishes. She also specializes in thoughtful accommodations for gluten-free, paleo, keto, vegan, and low-FODMAP guests—creating an elevated experience that feels entirely personal.
